The Gallery is dedicated to Ivan Večenaj Tišlarov (1920–2013), one of Croatia’s greatest naive painters, a peasant writer, and a collector of folk heritage. The Gallery consists of the family house, the painter’s studio, and exhibition spaces displaying numerous oil paintings on glass, drawings, prints, photographs, and documentary
materials. Nearby is his birthplace, which has been converted into an ethnographic museum.
The Gallery is open by prior telephone appointment.
