The Amazon of Europe Bike Trail is an international long-distance cycling trail long over 1,250 km, following the natural meanders of the rivers Mura, Drava and Danube, offering an unique opportunity for active holidays.
The cycle route is passing along both sides of rivers and is split into two paths – the North Route (550 km) and the South Route (700 km) – both of which provide plenty of opportunities to visit tourism attractions and to experience the rivers.
Each route is further divided into daily stages – there are 11 stages on the North Route and 16 on the South Route, 27 in total. The start point of both routes of the Bike Trail is in the town of Mureck, Austria (close to Graz) and the end point in the town of Mohács, Hungary (close to Pécs).
